About Brianna Haffner
Brianna is a master’s-level, board-certified Art Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. She earned her master’s degree from Drexel University’s Graduate Program in Creative Arts Therapy in 2012 and has completed extensive postgraduate training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Beck Cognitive Therapy.
Although Brianna specializes in working with children and adolescents, she has supported clients of all ages across private practice, intensive in-home, crisis intervention, partial hospitalization, and community-based settings. Her clinical experience includes depression, anxiety, PTSD and trauma, ADHD, autism, oppositional defiant disorder, and major life transitions.
Brianna uses a strengths-based, person-centered approach that respects each client’s individuality and pace. She integrates art therapy, play therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Therapy, and sand tray interventions to encourage self-expression, emotional processing, and greater self-awareness.
Warm, creative, and empathetic, Brianna believes the creative process can provide a meaningful pathway toward healing when experiences are difficult to express through words alone. She is also passionate about supervising and educating developing art therapists as they work toward professional licensure.
