About Katelyn Elizabeth McLendon
Katelyn McLendon is a mental health professional who works with children, teens, and families, providing a safe and supportive environment for healing, connection, and personal growth. Drawing on her understanding of the nervous system and emotional regulation, Katelyn helps young people and parents better understand their emotions, manage stress, improve communication, and strengthen family relationships.
Katelyn earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia and holds a pre-professional certification in Marriage and Family Therapy. She also earned a B.S. in Psychology from Liberty University, with a focus in counseling and a minor in Apologetics.
Her background in Apologetics allows Katelyn to thoughtfully integrate spirituality into counseling when desired, supporting clients who are exploring questions, doubts, or challenges related to their Christian faith.
