About Sarah Shah
Sarah Shah provides compassionate, structured therapy for adolescents, teens, and adults across New Jersey under clinical supervision. She creates a collaborative and supportive environment where clients can better understand their experiences, develop practical coping skills, and work toward meaningful, sustainable change.
Sarah works with a broad range of mental health concerns, with particular experience supporting individuals with ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and other mood-related challenges. Her approach recognizes how emotional and behavioral concerns can affect daily functioning, relationships, self-esteem, and identity.
She is also passionate about providing affirming care for LGBTQ+ clients and supporting individuals on the autism spectrum or with developmental disabilities. Therapy is adapted to each client’s communication preferences, sensory needs, strengths, and personal goals.
Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies, family-focused interventions, and other evidence-based approaches, Sarah provides both individual and family therapy. Her warm, attentive style emphasizes emotional regulation, resilience, self-understanding, and personal growth.
Outside of her professional work, Sarah enjoys baking, nature, video and board games, Dungeons & Dragons, and attending Renaissance Faires with friends.
