Particular attention is given to the ways social expectations, power structures, and experiences of oppression can influence mental health and personal development.

This clinician is especially passionate about supporting individuals affected by cultural and societal expectations surrounding sex, gender, and sexuality. Therapy offers space to explore these experiences openly while developing greater self-understanding, confidence, and connection with one’s authentic identity.

The therapeutic approach is informed by humanistic and psychodynamic perspectives and grounded in egalitarian, strengths-based, and person-centered principles. Collaboration and transparency are central to the process, allowing clients to take an active role in shaping their therapeutic goals and direction.

As part of ongoing clinical supervision at Oregon City Counseling, this therapist is also receiving training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Through compassionate, individualized care, clients are supported in processing trauma, strengthening relationships, exploring identity, and developing healthier ways of navigating both internal experiences and the world around them.
