Missy Terrell

Missy Terrell is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who provides therapy from a Christian, Gospel-centered perspective. She works with individuals and couples navigating a broad range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, spirituality, self-image, career and financial stress, premarital preparation, and marriage challenges. She has a particular interest in helping clients address and heal from childhood trauma.

Missy is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Restoration Therapy (RT), Prepare/Enrich, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), and the Strong Interest Inventory (SII). She has also received training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), allowing her to draw from multiple therapeutic approaches based on each client’s needs and goals.

Her approach combines professional counseling with faith-informed support, creating a compassionate environment where clients can explore emotional challenges, relationships, personal values, and spiritual concerns. Missy recognizes that seeking therapy can require courage and strives to make the process welcoming and collaborative.

Through thoughtful guidance and evidence-informed techniques, she supports clients in developing greater self-understanding, processing difficult experiences, strengthening relationships, and working toward meaningful emotional and personal growth.
