About Michelle Hillock
This therapist provides compassionate, evidence-based care for clients experiencing overwhelming emotions, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and significant life transitions. Using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), clients are supported in strengthening emotional regulation, managing distress, and developing skills for healthier relationships and everyday life. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is also incorporated when addressing anxiety, depression, and unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior.
As an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist, this clinician creates an accepting and nonjudgmental environment where clients can openly explore gender, sexuality, identity, and related experiences.
There is a particular passion for supporting young adults as they navigate the often-complex transition into adulthood. Therapy can provide space to explore questions about identity, relationships, values, goals, and the future while developing greater confidence and self-understanding.
Recognizing that beginning therapy can bring both hope and uncertainty, this therapist offers a warm, collaborative approach tailored to each client’s individual needs. The goal is to help clients feel more grounded, build practical coping skills, strengthen meaningful relationships, and create positive changes that support a more fulfilling life.
