About Lauro Guzman

Lauro Guzman is a down-to-earth clinician who helps adults better understand and navigate challenges affecting their emotional well-being and daily lives. He works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, anger, chronic stress, burnout, grief, trauma, and self-doubt related to major life transitions.

Lauro has a particular interest in supporting men who may have learned to suppress emotions or handle difficulties on their own. He also works with clients navigating cultural identity, family expectations, and the challenges that can arise when asking for help feels unfamiliar or uncomfortable.

His therapeutic process begins with a thoughtful assessment of each client’s history, current circumstances, and reasons for seeking support. From there, Lauro helps identify underlying concerns and patterns that may be interfering with a healthier, more balanced life. Together, he and his clients establish meaningful goals and develop practical strategies for change. His approach aims to help clients manage difficult emotions, improve communication and concentration, strengthen coping skills, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
