Lauren Pennington

This therapist works with individuals and relationships seeking a supportive space to explore sexuality, intimacy, identity, relationship structures, and experiences of sexual shame or trauma. Their approach recognizes sexuality as an important part of overall well-being and creates room for clients to discuss concerns that may feel difficult or uncomfortable to address elsewhere.

Using a trauma-informed and person-centered approach, they provide compassionate, nonjudgmental support tailored to each client’s experiences, boundaries, and goals. They welcome relationships of diverse structures and are particularly committed to creating an affirming environment for LGBTQIA+, non-monogamous, and kink communities. Clients are encouraged to show up authentically while exploring their needs, relationships, experiences, and sense of self at a comfortable pace.

They are currently working toward Sex Therapist certification through the Sexual Health Alliance, further developing their expertise in sexual health and relationship concerns. They practice under the supervision of Randy Woodring, LPC-S, LCDC.
