About Dawn M. Shelton
This Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist has more than 20 years of experience providing compassionate care to individuals, adolescents, couples, and families. A clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), this therapist holds both a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in Family Therapy.
Areas of specialization include trauma recovery, relationship concerns, life transitions, addiction recovery, early childhood attachment issues, adoption, grief and loss, women’s empowerment, and stress and anxiety management. Using a strength-based approach, therapy focuses on recognizing and building upon the personal, relational, and family resources each client already possesses.
