This psychotherapist and Certified Eating Disorders Specialist brings more than 25 years of clinical experience to working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, eating disorders, personality disorders, trauma, chronic health concerns, and difficult or unsatisfying relationships.

Using a primarily psychodynamic approach, this therapist helps clients explore patterns in thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships, including patterns that may operate outside conscious awareness. The goal is to develop deeper self-understanding that can support meaningful, lasting change rather than focusing solely on symptom relief.

Additional specialized training includes Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT), an approach that helps individuals better understand their own thoughts and emotions while developing greater awareness of others’ perspectives. This approach can be particularly useful when addressing emotional regulation, interpersonal difficulties, eating disorders, depression, and certain personality-related concerns.

Therapy takes place in an open, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where difficult or sensitive topics can be explored with curiosity. Through careful reflection and collaborative work, clients are supported in understanding confusing emotional experiences, recognizing unhelpful patterns, improving relationships, and making changes that align with their individual needs and goals.
