About Tasha Hamilton
This counselor believes that a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, honesty, and authenticity is essential for meaningful progress. Their collaborative approach meets clients where they are while helping them recognize unhelpful thoughts and behaviors, develop practical coping skills, and create positive changes that can extend beyond the therapy room.
With experience supporting clients ages 15 to 85, they have worked with individuals experiencing concerns ranging from mild life challenges to complex mental health conditions. Areas of experience include combat-related PTSD, psychotic disorders, mood disorders, borderline personality disorder (BPD), and challenges associated with different stages of life. They also have experience working with clients who have made limited progress with previous treatment approaches.
Counseling has been a lifelong passion, rooted in an early ability to listen, mediate, and support others through difficult decisions. Their therapeutic style combines compassion, practical guidance, humor, and hard work. Above all, they view therapy as a team effort and value the opportunity to partner with clients as they work toward greater well-being and lasting growth.
