About Mary Andrus
This trauma-focused therapist works with individuals seeking to heal past wounds, better understand themselves, and explore patterns that may be keeping them feeling stuck. The therapeutic process is intentionally paced, allowing clients to approach difficult experiences with greater safety, compassion, and respect for their individual needs.
Art and creative expression are meaningful components of this therapist’s approach. Clients may be invited to use artmaking as a way to explore emotions, experiences, and aspects of themselves that can be difficult to express through words alone. No artistic experience is necessary; creativity is simply offered as another pathway toward reflection, processing, and self-discovery.
This therapist has completed training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma treatment, as well as Level 1 training in Internal Family Systems (IFS). These approaches are integrated thoughtfully according to each client’s goals and comfort level.
With curiosity, compassion, creativity, and care at the center of therapy, clients are supported in understanding their internal experiences, processing trauma, strengthening self-awareness, and moving toward meaningful healing and personal growth.
