About Cyndia Glorfield
This experienced counselor provides a collaborative, strengths-based approach to therapy, helping clients explore their emotions, understand their experiences, and create meaningful change. Areas of focus include trauma, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, difficult life experiences, and other challenges that can affect emotional well-being and personal growth.
Holding a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Counseling and a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, this counselor is licensed in both Idaho and Nevada and serves as a board-approved clinical supervisor in both states.
In addition to clinical practice, this counselor has extensive experience educating and mentoring mental health professionals. Academic roles include teaching at Walden University and Idaho State University, with previous faculty experience at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Professional workshops and presentations are also provided to support counselor development.
Therapy is grounded in collaboration, compassion, and recognition of each client’s existing strengths. Clients are supported in making sense of their stories, identifying solutions, building resilience, and developing practical ways to move beyond difficult experiences toward greater confidence, emotional well-being, and fulfillment.
