About Dana Brown

This licensed psychotherapist brings more than 25 years of mental health experience to supporting youth and adults through emotional, behavioral, and everyday life challenges. With a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology and an extensive background in community mental health, this therapist provides thoughtful, individualized care at Intentional Peace.

The therapeutic approach is engaging, collaborative, and eclectic, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy. Treatment is tailored to each client’s unique circumstances, strengths, and goals, with an emphasis on developing practical strategies that can support meaningful change in everyday life.

Central to the work is helping clients cultivate greater peace, self-acceptance, and personal empowerment. Therapy may focus on strengthening self-care, developing healthier boundaries, building self-compassion, and identifying patterns that interfere with emotional balance and fulfillment.

Through a warm and supportive therapeutic relationship, clients are encouraged to better understand themselves, recognize their existing strengths, and make intentional changes that align with their values. The goal is to help individuals move toward greater emotional well-being, balance, confidence, and a more fulfilling life.
