About Tedra Tado

Tedra is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor with a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University. She has extensive experience supporting military veterans, including work within the VA, and has a special focus on serving first responders. With close family connections to both law enforcement and the military, Tedra brings a meaningful understanding of the unique pressures and culture associated with service-oriented careers.

Her areas of focus include trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, addiction and recovery, and adjustment challenges related to everyday life and major transitions. Tedra takes a person-centered and holistic approach, integrating evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), harm reduction, trauma-informed care, and EMDR.
